Biography

Elder Wanda L. Gibson, is the product of a body of strong and notable believers. Her paternal grandmother, the late Pastor Lexie Gibson, founder of the Church of the Lord Jesus, House of Prayer, as her first Pastor, was a great influence in her life and contributed richly to her spiritual growth and ministry.

Growing up in Lawrenceville, NJ, Pastor Wanda was brought up in the Church of the Lord Jesus, House of Prayer. . She later attended First Baptist church of Lawrenceville under the leadership of Rev. Clinton J. Carter where she was saved at the age of 15 and moved back to her Pentecostal roots at the Holy Cross Church of Christ Written In Heaven, under the leadership of Bishop J. B. Walker where she was filled with the Holy Ghost. She served as an usher, a member of the Evangelistic Team, Youth, Concert and Mass Choirs.

As a member of New Holy Cross Church, under the tutelage of Bishop Willie J. Jones, she served faithfully as VP and President of the Hospitality Committee, a member of the Scholarship Committee, International Missions Dept., Youth and Concert Choirs, and a speaker on various platform services including a National Youth Convention.

In January 1996, Pastor Wanda gave her initial sermon and was certified as a missionary under the tutelage of Bishop Harold N. Foy of Emmanuel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. She served as a member of the “God Sent” song ministry, the Missionary Board and the Usher Board.

Her missionary license was accepted and transferred to a Minister's License in January 1997 by the Founder and former Pastor of Reconciliation and Restoration Ministries, Inc., where she has served in every capacity of the church including First Lady, since it's inception. Her commitment to service includes formulation of the Constitution and By-laws, the application and acceptance of the church's 501(c)3 tax exempt status, Financial Secretary of the Board of Directors and Legal Trustee to the incorporation. She has an undying love for youth and served as our Youth Pastor, while providing training to the Usher Board, Armor Bearers, Deacons, Ministers and the Praise and Worship team.

On December 9, 2001, Pastor Wanda was ordained an Elder of the church by the laying on of hands of the presbytery, which included the late Pastor Sheila Johnson, Pastor & Founder of New Life Evangelistic Ministries, COCDOC and Apostle Brenda Thomas, Pastor & Founder of Dunamis Ministries. Pastor Wanda received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology in June 2007 from the Jameson School of Ministry and Theology. In April 2008, Elder Wanda became the Sr. Pastor of Faith Christian Fellowship Center & Outreach Ministries (formerly Reconciliation & Restoration Ministries), the office to which she was formally installed on March 17, 2012 by the Reverend Dr., Apostle Joel D. Rudolph, Pastor of Christian Fellowship Center and Founder and Chief Apostle of Unity of the Spirit Interdenominational Fellowship, an Apostle in the Lord's House .

Pastor Wanda is the proud mother of two very fine young men, Marcos II and Gabriel. She is also the loving grandmother (Nana) of Imani, Ilyani, Riley, Raven, Isabella and Leilani.

It is said that her life and service bear the testimony of her calling to the Pastorate and it is established that she is an ordained elder of the church of Jesus Christ.
